is Obama like the sports team who looked ahead?
You see it happen in sports all the time. A team looks past their opponent to the next opponent and end up losing because they looked ahead and were over confident in beating their present opponent. Is this so with Obama and his supporters?
I see your point. However, Clinton will need to win 70% of the popular vote in the remaining states to win the number of delegates needed for the nomination. A tall feat for anyone. Yet, Obama does need to remain focused and not look past Clinton and their very formidable, polished and well-financed political machine.

I’m not sure where you’re getting this, or how your logic is working, but so far Obama is beating his present opponent.

People are obviously misinformed. Hillary can not only "catch up" but pass Obama. She will win Ohio,Texas, and Pennyslvania. The Gov of Florida supports a redo of the Florida Primary. She will win that also. Obama folks should begin to look at the cracks in their candidate.

I don’t think the analogy applies here. Other posters have outlined the prodigous vote totals she would need in order to pull out a victory, but in addition the momentum is totally against her. She is facing defeat in states where she held double digit leads just six weeks ago. No, the tide has turned and Obama is doing the right thing in shifting his focus. Sing it with me kids "DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD"
