Is Ohio having the best sports year?

I know Florida beat OSU in the championship for both football and basketball, but no other Florida sports team is playing that great. The Columbus destroyers lost the AFL championship. The Cavs lost the championship. Now the Indians are in the post season and the Browns are even playing better than expected. I know that Ohio hasent won anything this year, but has sent all their teams to the big dance so far. Your thoughts?
Just from a personal stand point it is better to watch my team in the championship losing. Rather than thinking about next year and not watching at all.

That a pretty positive outlook you have. Most people would look at it as the land of heartbreak for all the championships they have recently lost but you are right that all those teams are good enough to get to the championships.

Now that you mention it good for them but until you win something you’re losers but it must be alot of fun following a team for months only to watch them lose the BIG ONE….

I think it is great when someone like you is enthusiastic about your sports teams and has nothing but positive things to post. You are actually someone that can make a good point without using the words, suck, hate, or steroids. More power to you and your Ohio teams.

i think the things should be better , i mean the cavs should be better this season , the browns could play for a playoff spot an the indians have a great chance to win it all, as you say its better be in the finals than watching others teams winning,
i really think this will be a very good year for ohio.
    the fans deserve it!!!!!!!!!!
    Go tribe!!!!!!!!

what is better to be watching the national championship games from home or to be playing in it? i will take playing any day!!!!! and in basketball the buckeyes were not even supposed to make it that far anyway they had a team full of freshmen! no if we can just get the bengals and the reds on track it will be even better. just think before the beginning of the ncaa football season the buckeyes were not even ranked in the top 10! and now we are number 5. i hope the year will get better for us ohio team fans!!

If you have to list an Arena Football team, your state probably isn’t as good as you think.

Cavs lost in NBA finals, Ohio State lost NCAA Championship, Browns haven’t won a Super Bowl, but doing okay for now but always lose in play-off, Indians win their division but haven’t won a World Series since when, Cincinnati Reds, what have they done lately, Bengals haven’t won a Super Bowl & got beat by the Pats, who will win the Super Bowl this year. I like the city of Cleveland for 2 reasons, 1, the Rock-n-roll hall of fame & the Drew Carey show. Until Browns, Indians, Reds, or Cavs win a title, Ohio hasn’t got a prayer as a great sports state.

Not a long time Ohio sports fan I take it? I’m guessing not, or you’d know it’ll all go in the pooper soon.

As a Clevelander, this is VERY scary! If one of our teams cash it in, then I KNOW the end is near! Go Tribe anyway!

I know that a lot of the Ohio teams have made it to the finals and lost this year, but I am confident that the Indians will prevail and win the World Series. As for the Browns, if they can somehow beat the New England Patriots then I will look at them differerently, although it is highly unlikely. The Cavaliers have made a statement that they will return to the playoffs and even have made their own theme song.

ESPN: The Cleveland Indians have a better chance at winning the World Series than the Browns winning the Superbowl.
