College Football: The ACC, The Hardest Hitting Conference

Remember, hardest hitting doesn’t mean the best lol….

The ACC, the toughest D’s in the nation. Hard hits, blocks, and people just getting owned. If you disagree, this vid will change ur mind. This vid features hits from all over the ACC, includes players like Sean Taylor, Brandon Flowers, Shawn Merriman, and many more. I made this vid because me and my friend were arguing if the SEC had a better D than the ACC. I truly believe that the ACC gives us the best defensive players and if u disagree whatever man.

    future hall of …
future hall of famers?????? what the are you talking about? none of those guys are going to the hall even bo jackson is not getting in. the only one that has action at the hall is a player you didnt even mention in patrick willis. none of those other guys are even stars i guess haynesworth but no one else. unless your talking about college hall of fame. there is not one player from the sec in the NFL that is the best at his position in the league. the college hof is overrated anyway.

    those players …
those players played in the sec some of them over 10 years ago. and most of them were average on the pro level like what about anyone from FSU or Miami in the last 10 to 15 years. how about lawrence taylor (unc) i would name more but enuff said. you forgot to mention reggie white he went to UT hes better than anyone on your list.

    LSU OR FLORIDA? …
LSU OR FLORIDA? what about the other 10 average programs? why not vandy or arkansas? LSU was a 5th place team this year get a grip. last i checked the ACC was 6-4 against the SEC this year and we had more 8 win teams than the SEC so your talking about 2 teams and one is mediocre you were better off mentioning bama.

    umm, Georgia Tech …
umm, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech both have top tier rushing offenses. plus the ACC went 6-4 against the SEC last year, you are not as far ahead as you think. although i still think the SEC is the nations top conference from top to bottom

    Hardest hitting …
Hardest hitting conference.. that is a joke.

Even the refs get into the action in the SEC.

The reason the hits look as good as they do on a highlight reel is that the skill players are not used to take hits every game like they do in the SEC.

Anyone can look good tackling an inferior athelete.

    i’m not going to …
i’m not going to bust your chops about the acc sucking because the acc does have some elite talent…they just don’t have as much as the SEC. Look at recruiting and the SEC lands the best classes year in and out. The only way the ACC can be a top 3 conference again is for miami and florida state to return to being top 15 teams again. until that happens virginia tech will continue to dominate the acc as a top 20 type program.

    I ment defensive …
I ment defensive players, so I’m gonna name some ACC defensive players, some who are retired now. Lawrence Taylor(UNC), Warren Sapp(Miami, even though at the time they were in the Big East), Shawn Merriman(Maryland), Ronde Barber(UVA), Derrick Brooks(FSU),Brian Dawkins(Clemson), Gaines Adams(Clemson), William Perry(Clemson), Mario Williams(NC State), Ray Lewis(Miami), Ed Reed(Miami), the late great Sean Taylor(Miami), Dexter Jackson(FSU). And thats just a few man.

    …Bo Jackson( …
…Bo Jackson(retired-Auburn), and Shawn Andrews (Arkansas). Of Course theres a lot more SEC/NFL players out there that was to name a few. But i picked the one that have been to probowl, or had huge impacts on the nfl teams they play(ed) for. Im sry dude but i’m afraid you lost this battle, the first few i named are ALL future hall-of-famers and/or already hall-of-famers, the whole of the ACC can’t compete with them. ACC is a dead Conference!
