There is a lot of …
There is a lot of foreign players in the top 4 English teams but there is also a lot of world class English players in the top 4. Yes you should compare club with company. Managers should play them in the position they play for at their club but how many times in the past are they played out of position? For years I have wanted an England manager to say to their players go out and do what you do week in week out for your club. As for being overpaid, If they don’t have the money the clubs will.

yes of course …
yes of course english teams dominate champs league i agree premier league is best in world but how does the english based club teams performance in europe compensate for englands national team?? majority of top 4 best players are foreign!!! and u cant compare club with country as club guys play together every day not once a month, makes no difference english clubs, english national team is big egotistical non hearted overpaid underachievers!!!

Look at the …
Look at the champions league and how English teams dominate it. British players do have skill but the international team has been badly mis-managed. Your wrong about England players not giving their all. Every-time you put on an England shirt you want to win. England’s mis-fortune says more about the state of English managers than it’s players.

England are always …
England are always down to 10 men or less as you cant count Lampard or Gerrard as contributors. Both of them are duds in an England shirt.

English players do …
English players do have the touch and class to win the World Cup. They also have a lot of heart and a never say die attitude, what has been lacking from English international football is a manager who can manage the team well. Hopefully they have found it with the current manager.

In the NFL (where …
In the NFL (where REAL football is played), there are Europeans playing. There is a position on the special teams called “the kicker”. The Kicker kicks extra points, field goals, and punts. The kicker is usually some skinny European that most Americans consider to be a little “light in the loafers”. Funny, we consider the kicker to be somewhat gay and whimpy, yet you stupid European foreigners have based a whole game on nothing but skinny gay kickers. Hilarious…

we shouldn’t be …
we shouldn’t be blaming the kids, it’s not like they are just genetically lazy. i don’t buy the idea that they all playing x-box iether. i think there are social reasons why kids don’t go out and play in the street anymore. they are not given the encouragement, they have parents that worry too much about traffic and pedophiles. So now if one family did let their kid go out and play he would get bored because their would be no other kids to play with. sad mess we’re in.

Brilliant. All that …
Brilliant. All that awful singing on The Anfield Rap is forgiven. This guy shows more passion in his argument than the last 10 years of England Football Team performances. G’donya mate. I predict the same quarter final mediocrity at the next World Cup.

I’ve just been to …
I’ve just been to Portugal on holiday, and after touring through many towns, that guy is right. Everywhere, there are kids playing football with their friends. Now I like to go to my local football field, with 8 pitches on, regularly, and in summer 10 years ago they used to be full - now, they’re dead, and I just can’t believe it. I’ll be the only one on there.
What has killed English football? The computer and gaming stations. Kids are much happier playing FIFA 2009 nowadays.
