I should clarify, … I should clarify, the FIRST song in the cartoon and Arthur Collins was the original singer, not the one in the cartoon.

The song is called … The song is called o ma baby and was from 1899 and was sung by Arthur Collins.
Hello! ma baby
Hello! ma honey
Hello! ma ragtime gal
Send me a kiss by wire
Baby, ma heart’s on fire!
If you refuse me
Honey, you’ll lose me
Then you’ll be left alone
Oh, baby, telephone
And tell me I’m your own!

I’m 23 and I grew … I’m 23 and I grew up on cartoons like this. I fondly remember the Michigan J. Frog skits, but these cartoons (at the time I first saw them) were outdated in an era of Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and G.I. Joe. Although things are different nowadays, you might be surprised that some kids today would find the same enjoyment out of those simple Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies pictures.
OMG!!! I finally … OMG!!! I finally found Michigan Rag!! I’ve looked for this cartoon forever. My favorite part is the “BURP!” Talk about a bad case of indigestion!!!! All the classic cartoons are the best
