Why is my hamster losing fur on the inside of its arm?

He is find, eating and drink wise. But just on the inside of his arm, from the hand to the inside there is no hair. I see him bite it. There is no other place on his body losing hair though. It not going to grow back, but he isn’t losing the hair fast.
I meant to say he is fine.
If you are going to say take him to the vet, don’t bother answering.

This might tell you about it.

He might have a splinter from plastic or wood, depending on what the cage is made of an contains. Feel the effected limb and watch your hamster’s reaction and actions. If you can, try getting a really close look at it, and if you can see a lesion, abscess, or splinter I would advise visiting the vet or buying medicine at your local pet store as well as removing the splinter if there is one. If there is a lesion or abscess try getting a close look and doing some research on what it might be. Take close note of size, color of it and around it, length of time it has been affecting it, and first symptom.
