Can the best College football team beat the worst NFL team?
I’m not going to say who the best college football team is because every has their own opinion on who it is. Whether its Florida, Oklahoma, Texas or whoever. Do you think the best of the BCS could beat the worst in the NFL?
The College All Stars used to play the NFL Defending Champ every year up until 1977. The NFL had a commanding lead in the series compiling a 31-9-2 record against the college squads. However, the college teams did win 9 times and played them to 2 ties. So, there goes the theory that college teams would never win. Were you to put a good college team against a bad Professional team, I bet the games would be closer, series wise.

Honestly no… don’t forget most of the people on the worst NFL teams were the best of the best college players at one time.
Florida would get killed by the Lions… that jump pass Tebow pulled would get him killed in a NFL game

no a lot of ppl will say yes but even know lions are bad in NFL they still know what they are doing it would be like a team of rookies VS a teem of pros most of the rookies would not know how to block or cover ppl that know how to do things different thin what they are use too

No, I would have to say absolutely not. I mean, look at all the great players from College ball that couldn’t cut it with the pros. Archie Griffin, for example, is the only player in history to win 2 heisman trophies, yet he was a terrible NFL player. Jason White, a former Oklahoma QB, wont the Heisman, and didn’t ever make an NFL roster. My point is, the pros are so much faster, stronger, and smarter, a college team would have no chance.

As bad as the Lions were, they would’ve beat any college team. And made them look like little kids. Everyone in the pros were the best in college and now are older and can take and give a bigger punishment.

absolutely not. there is no chance. The lions were the worst team in nfl history, but they still consisted of 65 of awesome college players who were good enough to get drafted. the nfl and college football are 2 completely different games. pro player are much faster. the speed of the defenders in the nfl is the reason why the options can’t succeed there. the lions would kill usc, texas, oklahoma, and any other college team that tried to play them

Only if the pro team is the lions, a high school team could beat them.

No. Detroit would have killed Florida, like 34-14 or something. The worst NFL team has a whole team of draft picks while the other has if they’re lucky 5 players who’ll be drafted.

Not even close. An NFL team has all former college players who were AMAZING in college. When Florida, Oklahoma Texas, or USC don’t have all these talented players. They have some but not NEARLY as many as an NFL team.

No chance what so ever because think about it not everyone on the best college team will play in the nfl at most if there is a miracle 7 will make it but an nfl team is all players that made it and even on the worst teams have players that played on the best college team

of course not, you have to get drafted to go in the NFL, and more than half the BCS team that would be playing wont even make the NFL so no

No. The worst team in the NFL still has a lot more talent than the best college team. Most players on even national championship teams aren’t going to the pros. All the players on the worst professional teams are already there.

No. Because all of the people on those crappy teams got drafted from the best. So they are 2 to 3 times better as a whole
Detroit Lions beat Florida gators 38 - 10
