Any team makes Belichick nervous... anything can happen. When you have had most of your success in close games in previous years why would you want to take any chances? After going against the Colts last year and having the game well in hand, they lost... they came back and beat them, he doesn't want to see that happen again. Belichick understands that every team he goes against are professional teams and they wouldn't be where they are otherwise. This is the NFL, this is college football where if the top team loses to the bottom of the barrell it's a shock... if the Dolphins beat the Patriots... people wouldn't be shocked, because they are Pro players and anything can happen. Why do you think Belicheck has consistently over the years gone for players that most teams don't consider very good, because he sees potential in them that everyone else doesn't or just refuses too... you know why? Because he's a good coach and cares for his players and just wants to see the underdogs succeed.
