His positioning is poor but he can be taught to improve that. Most of these clips are from when he was 21 and just starting in the prem. GIve the lad a break, he works his bollix off and will only get better.
Criticizin someone for gettin rounded by Torres is a bit harsh, he made of Vidic.

A good footballer …
A good footballer is not just a man with a perfect body, excellent tecnique and spettacular actions, but also someone who has the grit, constancy and application! (Qualities that McShane has).
Also remember that the best footballer of the team is nothing without the rest of the players…
ps: just to get down at ur level; talk for u he has nothing clumy, he’s just perfect in every little particular. While I bet that u are so ugly that all u need is a long tail to be egual to GODZILLA!!!

Hahaha. He came on for Steve Finnan against Georgia to play right-back for the last few minutes. Of course with Finnan there it was 2-0 but soon after McShane was on it was 2-1. Thank goodness he wasn’t brought on earlier.
Interesting fact about Paul McShane - many managers love to watch him play…unfortunately they tend to be the opposition managers.
