Is the London game the worst football game of the season?
We all saw it last year 2 of the worst teams in the beginning of the season ( I know the Giants got better but Miami still was terrible after this) and the field was a mud pit similar to the Steelers Dolphins game. Also, with the field as bad as it was, the players have a higher risk for injury.
I think it is.
Marketing overseas is pathetic.
The NFL has enough money, they should risk the injury of some of their best players.

I think it is a waste of time even trying to bring an interest of American Football into English people's lives. They love their soccer and rugby and Football will never take over from those two. As for the field I agree with you about the players risking injury as a lot of the stadiums in England are used for Rugby games so they get torn up a lot.
This season it may be slightly more interesting with the Chargers and Saints, but we'll have to wait and see.

i think so, the field was in horrible condition, two teams that were horrible at the time (although the giants got better), but it is between that game and the dolphins vs steelers game.

I wish the NFL would stop that. The NFL is already the biggest sports league in the US, why does it need to be the biggest in the world? They are not going to add any teams for awhile, so why try to expend outside the US? All you will do is piss off a part of the real NFL fans.

unlike some of the people here i like it when they play overseas i think its cool. but that game was pathetic. they should have put better teams for a better game and the stadium was bad too for it… but the british people seemed interested.

i would say the steelers vs dolphins game in that monday nite game on nov 26 … anyone remember the score,…. 3-0
… 12 players got injured during the game, and field condition was the worst. steady rain that flooded the field 4 inches in 2 hours… yes the london game was bad, to think of it, that london game and the nov 26 game happens to involve the then winless dolphins…

It was a bad passing game but it certainly wasn't the worst. At that point the Giants were 5-2 so how were they terrible ?

yeah it was, and the field was bad because the grass they use for soccer is shorter, so the ball is easier to kick, so that is y they werent getting good traction.

no, i'm a charger fan. i don't care for the nfl playing over seas, but it''ll be good seeing the chargers play against their old quarterback.
