I watched the video and saw Garner’s knee hit the ground while he still had the ball. You claim that “they officially proved it”. Who is “they”? Nobody has EVER “officially” proven that he wasn’t down or that the final lateral was legal. Mainly because he WAS down and the lateral WAS forward. Even some cal fans will admit that the lateral was forward but they stupidly think that it’s okay because of forward momentum or the wind carrying it forward. WRONG!!! Face it, the officials blew the calls.

They had Garner …
They had Garner down at midfield, but the officials missed it. That’s why the band ran onto the field. Stanford didn’t suck. They won the game, but they weren’t rewarded with the official victory due to the blown calls on the final play.
