No more diving by the oppo after that then. that was probably my proudest moment in football.
and the thing is, we ended up losing the game! They were the better footballing side, and yet they resorted to crying on the floor. and the kid was HUGE.
shame isnt it, how people with such talent resort to ‘flopping’ :/ and im talking about the pros as well, not just ‘the most physical team in spain’.

Feeling guilty, i could have hurt the guy and so I go to shake his hand, give him a hand up. and now hes miraculously recovered. and hes shouting and waving his arms at me. bemused, i look at my manager. he shrugs. so, laughing, i tumble to the floor, do a couple of rolls like he did, grabbing my shin and such and then i get back on my feet and wink at him.

On last years …
On last years football tour to Spain we played against a team in the year above (we’re quite good you see) and we were warned that they were the most physical side in the area.
So about twenty minutes in, they’ve moaned and shouted at the ref about five hundred times already, and I slide tackled someone and im immediatley surrounded by six or so of their players. Their supporters are outraged and the player in question is writhing about on the floor.

Are you serious? Dude, you just embarrassed yourself and lost any respect you had from the entire soccer community.
Seriously guys, if you get paid to play soccer you should be good enough to make your own advantages instead of asking the ref to hand them to you.
