College Football Rankings- The News about Losing

I've heard so many different responses to this, but I don't know what is true. I've heard of ESPN recording 135dB at a Nebraska game in 1992, and I was personally at the Clemson-Miami (FL) game in 2005 when an apparent 126dB was reached.

Also, what's the recorded record for the loudest crowd at ESPN's College GameDay (football)? Again, Herbstreit or Fowler made a comment about the recorded 117dB at last year's game between #13 Georgia Tech and #12 Clemson (at Clemson) being the loudest he could remember. Is there any archive of this?

Not too sure but I do know that Death Valley gets really loud.
