Why do I keep losing connection on runescape?

I am playing runescape, and I keep losing connection. It says "connection lost, attempting to reestablish." My internet connection is fine, its been doing this for about 1 day now. How can I fix this?

Internet is to slow (like dial up) or its disabled. Updates. You'r computer has too much items on it (Downloads, songs, videos, etc.)
Delete some things you don't need then it might stop the lag.
Put no sound, lowest everything on Graphics, mute your computer, and lower you'r brightness, and DON'T play HD.
don't have sites up while playing (google,Youtube,Yahoo, etc.)
Make sure you'r the only one using a computer using the internet connection.
Trust me it helps :)

either you have a bad internet connection or the server you are on(the world) is updating or going through changes.

You should try going on a less population world and try it out. If possible, try to reduce your connections to the internet and router ie. MSN, etc and family members using the internet (if possible). That should improve connectivity.
